Medical Insurance

Eligible ZEOs in Italy are provided with Supplemental Medical Insurance through Aon, fully paid for by Zuora.

Enrollment & Dependent Coverage

ZEOs will be prompted to provide their benefits enrollment details as part of the Workday onboarding process. Please ensure this is completed within 15 days of your start date. While the policy allows for mid-year enrollment, please note that coverage can only be backdated up to a maximum of 20 days.

ZEOs may also add eligible dependents to their medical insurance plan at no additional cost. Eligible dependents include:

  • Spouse
  • Children
  • Cohabiting Partner
  • Children of the Cohabiting Partner (if living with the employee)

Requesting Refunds

  • Reimbursement management is performed directly by Aon, Zuora's local broker partner in Italy.
  • To request a refund, Aon recommends using the Aon ONECare online portal. Detailed instructions are provided below.

Life Insurance

Effective August 1, 2025, all eligible ZEOs in Italy will be automatically enrolled in life insurance, paid for by Zuora.

  • Carrier: Zurich Investments
  • Benefit Amount: 1x your annual base salary
  • Beneficiary: Testamentory heir (as defined in your legal will or by Italian inheritance law)
